Welcome to the CCBC-Catonsville A&P home page. This page was designed to aid your study of Anatomy and Physiology I (BIOL 220) and II (BIOL 221). This page contains links to faculty home pages, as well as links to A&P I and A&P II materials. See the individual courses links for PowerPoint presentations currently available on the web, objectives, additional handouts, and other relevant web sites.

Anatomy & Physiology II – PowerPoint presentations, objectives, and other information for A&P II Additional materials may be available through your instructor's homepage. Relevant links are included with the objectives for each topic.
Reading Connection: Students in A&P II at CCBC Catonsville now have access to a Reading Connection site developed to aid your study of A&P II - especially your ability to read the terminology. Paragraphs provide relevant information using medical terminology. You can test your comprehension by putting the paragraph into your own words and comparing it to the "Paragraph Interpretation" provided and by taking the "Self-test" for each topic. Check it out by logging onto WebCT. The tutorial should be listed on the left side of the page. You must close ALL browser windows including this one to exit WebCT.

Tips for Success in Anatomy & Physiology - Read what others have done to pass A&P I. These are suggestions from real students. (Thanks to the students in A&P II, Spring 2002, for providing these suggestions.)
To view any of the Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, you will need to have Microsoft PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer installed on your computer. Microsoft Internet Explorer includes a PowerPoint Viewer so you can go directly to the presentations and view them. If you have Netscape and do NOT already have Microsoft PowerPoint on your computer, you will need to install the viewer. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/ms.htm and type PowerPoint Viewer into the search box. Clicking on "Go" will take you to a list of viewers and converters. Choose the "Viewers and Converters for PowerPoint". Choose "PowerPoint Viewer 97 (2000 Release) for PowerPoint 2000 Users." Print the instructions given, then follow them to download and install the PowerPoint Viewer to your hard drive. If you have difficulty printing the presentations as "handouts" please see your instructor for assistance.
