Note that the bacterial growth spread onto the Taxo-N disk has turned a rose color
indicating that the bacterium is oxidase-positive. The cytochrome oxidase produced
by the bacterium oxidizes the para-amino dimethylanaline oxidase test reagent
in the Taxo-N® disc to form a rose-colored compound indophenol.
