Viral Replication and Maturation
The viral genome directs
the host cell's metabolic machinery (ribosomes, tRNA, nutrients, energy, enzymes,
etc.) to synthesize viral enzymes and viral parts. The capsids assemble around
the viral genomes as the viral tails assemble.
