Welcome
Hello!!! Welcome to BIOL 108: Exploring Biology. This course will enhance your knowledge of modern biological principles. BIOL 108 is a general biology course intended for non-biology majors. Students are required to attend a face to face laboratory once per week on the Dundalk campus. If you have specific questions about the course after reviewing the public pages, please feel free to contact the instructor directly at dtollini@ccbcmd.edu
Please remember that taking online classes is intense. You will be required to spend at least 10-15 hours per week working on this course. Please take the distance learning assement tool survey (below) to determine if an online course is appropriate for you.
I provide weekly online chat sessions for students to ask questions about course material. You are also welcome to visit me on campus during my face to face office hours. Both chat session and online office hours will be posted in the course during the first week of class.
