Welcome
to CINS 121 on the World Wide Web!
Introduction to VBA
VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is the programming language found in many Microsoft and non-Microsoft products, and it is fast becoming a standard as more and more third-party software publishers license VBA to include their applications. Rather than learn a separate language for each software application (Word, Excel, and Access), as users once had to do, you need only to learn one - VBA.
The text for the class has a tutorial format. You will follow the instructions in the chapter, and then complete exercises at the end of the chapter. The textbook uses Microsoft Office 2000, but you may work with Office XP or 2003.
Please note that CINS 121 will not be offered in the spring if you need this course to complete a program.
Be sure to check out the other options in the index to the left and take the self-assessment test.
Email me or contact me by telephone at 410.780.6439 if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Penny Fanzone
