My Schedule

Welcome to my web site and a brief introduction!! I have been associated with CCBC since 1994 when I taught the then popular Lotus 1-2-3. In subsequent years I have taught a variety of Computer Information Systems subjects, and currently teach CINS101, CINS111 and CINS155. Throughout most of my adult life I have been involved in the analysis and construction of information systems for businesses throughout the Baltimore area. This has included The Maryland Casualty Company, the Equitable Bank, Eastern Stainless Steel, Legg Mason Wood Walker, First Data Merchant Services, the Success For All Foundation, ViPS, and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. So I bring to the classroom a broad range of experiences in the "real world" to complement the conceptual and practical skills we discuss at College.

I was born and lived in Baltimore until 1986. After graduating from Polytechnic in 1969 (now you know why my site's basic color scheme is blue and orange), I attended Towson University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 1973. In 1989 I returned to school at the Johns Hopkins University. In 1992 I received a Master of Administrative Science degree with an Information Technology concentration.

Over the past thirty years, I watched information technology transform the way people work. Everyone is affected by the capabilities of today's technological world, and we will continue to be affected as this world evolves. And evolution is inevitable! Technology is a tool for us. When properly applied it accomplishes one very significant goal: we get our work done faster and more accurately, so we can go out and play sooner!!
