Visual Basic Programming I (CINS 220) is an introductory course in Microsoft's Visual Basic.Net Programming language, emphasizing design and development considerations for Windows based application programs. Topics include object-oriented programming concepts, user interface design, program flow, debugging techniques, and file access. When you finish this course, you will have acquired the knowledge necessary to plan, design, and code a variety of applications in Visual Basic.
If you are just beginning this course, I suggest that you take an introductory tour. The index to the left provides links to various elements of the course. If you are the adventurous type, you might just jump in, feet first, and explore those links. However, if you prefer a more systematic approach, you might explore the introduction or the course syllabus.
Before registering for
the course, be sure that you meet both the academic and technical prerequisites
for this course. You should also take the self-assessment test to see if taking
a distance learning course is appropriate for you. After registering, send
