HUMS 101: Introduction to Human Services

My name is Marguerite Falcón and I will be your professor for the HUMS 101 Introduction to Human Services course this semester. I previously was the Human Services Program Coordinator at the Catonsville Campus. I now continue to work for the college as an adjunct professor while I pursue my other interests. I am a native Marylander. I received a B.A. in Social Work and Sociology and a M.S.W., all degrees from The University of Maryland. I'm also licensed as a LCSW-C and continue to practice clinical social work on a part-time basis with the elderly. My future goal is to continue my education both formally with further graduate school and informally with service work for the community. I have been dedicated to the helping field since I can remember.
