Hello, My name is Joan McDade. I am looking forward to coaching you through this on-line course. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from the University of Maryland at Baltimore with a B.S. in Nursing. I completed a M.S. in Nursing in 1993. I've worked in the Nursing Profession for more than 20 years, providing nursing care to adults in acute care settings. I enjoy reading, cooking, walking, watching soccer games, and socializing with family and friends. I understand first hand how hectic your life can be trying to juggle family, school, and work. So plan ahead and make time for both your studies and the things that you enjoy!
