Catalog Description
This course is designed to provide the student with a working knowledge of basic medical terminology. Pronunciation, correct spelling and precise meaning are all essential to the use and understanding of medical terminolgy. Topics to be covered include: word parts, word roots, prefixes and suffixes, use of a medical dictionary, pronunciation and medical terms related to body systems.

Exemption from or successful completion of RDNG 052 or LVR 2.
