Welcome to Introduction to Women's Studies 101. This course is an interdisciplinary examination of the status, achievements, and experiences of women in society.Women's experiences in societal institutions such as arts, education, labor force,law, politics, marriage, family life and health are critically examined. Let me assure you this course is not male-bashing 101!! It is an examination of the role that gender plays in various aspects in society. I look forward to working with each and everyone of you. I know we will engage in enriching discussion throughout the course of the semester. Best of Luck during the course of the semester!!
