CCBC Tutorials for On-line Learners

General Information

These tutorials share information and demonstrate skills for online students.

Getting Started

To begin, click on a tutorial below.  The tutorials are timed animations so that the program will run without your interaction. The run better if you use the built-in timing. However, if you prefer, you can use the control buttons to the upper right of the tutorial screen to pause, reverse or advance the tutorial. If you are downloading these Viewlets over a modem, there may be some delay between when the screen appears and when the audio begins to play. Therefore some patience is required. In some cases, it might take 2 - 3 minutes to download a tutorial. The delay will be insignificant if you are downloading the Viewlets over an ISDN line or cable modem.

IMPORTANT: These tutorials use Java.  Most browsers will display them, although older computers may have problems.  If your security settings are too strict they also may not play.  Check out the WebCT browser tune-up page for the correct Java setting.
