For Colors and Design Principles

A link to 3d Text Maker, a link recommended by Donna Tupper's Spring 1999 students.   This link allows you to create 3D animated text.  The URL is http://www.3dtextmaker.com

A website that has a lot of free clip-art you can download is located at Barry's Clip Art.  The URL is http://www.barrysclipart.com/index.html.

A student from Donna Tupper's Fall 2000 site found this website which allows you to create your own animation.  The URL is www.animationonline.com   You might want to check it out.

The 216 color cube is a fantastic site for previewing background colors before you create your webpages.  It is actually written in JavaScript using rollovers.   The URL is http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/7116/jv_colcb.html   Sometimes there is a bit of a problem with the cube, but it is very useful and you can download it.

Another website that will give you hex codes for text and background colors is http://www.lynda.com/hexh.html.

For JavaScript

A link to "The Complete FREE Guide to JavaScript" was given to Donna Tupper by one of her Pascal students when he heard she was creating this course.  Students are a very generous source of information.  This site links to free JavaScripts that you might be able to use during the latter part of the course.  Check with your instructor for permission.  The URL is http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/5616/msjava.htm
