For each question below, find the equation of the line that fits the given condition.

1. Passing through the points (5,4) and (3,2).


  y = 4x - 5
  y = x - 1
  y = x + 1

2. Having a slope of 5/2 and a y-intercept of -8.

  5/2 * x - 8
  2/5 * x - 8
  y = -8x - (2/5)

3. Passing through the point (-2, -2) with a slope of 1.

  y = x
  y = x - 2
  y = -x

4. Having a y-intercept of 3 and is parallel to 1/2 * x - 5

 y = 1/2 x + 1/3
  y = -2x + 3
 y = 1/2 * x + 3


5. Having a y-intercept of 4 and is parallel to 2x + y = 1.

 y = 2x + 4
 y = -2x + 4
 y = -0.5x + 4
