Hypothesis Test of Two Population Proportion

A sample of 8442 female entrants in the New York City Marathon yielded that 3824 of them were college graduates. A sample of 21538 male entrants in the 1996 New York City Marathon yielded that 7203 of them were college graduates. At the 0.05 level of significance, test the claim that the proportion of women entrants, who are college graduates, in the New York City Marathon is greater than the proportion of male entrants who are college graduates.
