Recognizing that humans are our most important resource and that development of human resources is critical to a sustainable future, the Project works to empower human resources through a variety of education and training programs. Education is the most important technology in integrating environment and economy, optimizing use of human and natural resources, and meeting the needs of societies in the 21st century.

The Environment Project works to advance sustainable principles, practices, and processes through a wide range of credit, professional development, grant funded and outreach programs. These programs are developed and offered to professionals within the environmental industry, representatives from companies and institutions looking to comply with environmental regulations, communities seeking to enhance quality of life and economic development, students considering environmental careers, and individuals from all walks of life interested in integrating environmental and economic concerns into their daily lives.
