Use of the ACS Study Guide for the Final Exam

for Chem 121 (edited May 2006)

First let me reiterate that it is far more important to go over your old exams FIRST.  The ACS Study Guide is just a brief review of some of the topics on the Final Exam.  IT DOES NOT COVER ALL THE TOPICS!  Your exams are much more comprehensive than the study guide.  However, the study guide is very good for you to practise doing multiple choice questions similar to what are in the Final.

As you can see, this ACS study guide is meant as a review for students in Chem 123 (Gen Chem II), after taking 2 semesters of General Chemistry.  The Final you will be taking for Chem 121 certainly does not cover all the topics in the study guide (such as kinetics, rates, activation energy, equilibrium, electrochemistry, etc.)  Below is a list of Study Questions and Practice Questions that pertain to you as a Chem 121 student.
