MATH081      0 credit (3 billable hours)       BASIC MATHEMATICS is a fourteen-week course meeting three hours a week.  This course includes fractions, decimals, ratios, rate, proportions, percents, basic statistics, U. S. and Metric units of measurement, perimeter, area, volume, real numbers and basic equations.  A strong emphasis on applications will be placed on each topic. 

Pre-requisite:     Satisfactory score on the placement exam and Reading Level 1 (RDNG 051).

Scientific calculator required.
