Type www.ccbcmd.edu into your computer's URL.   You will see the screen below.

Click on “My CCBC”, a drop down will appear.

Click on “WebCT”.

You will now have the login screen to WebCT. Click on the Gold Login.

Click on Login.

Put in your ID and Password.

Your login ID is the beginning part of your school email address for example:   jsmith@student.ccbcmd.edu , your ID would be jsmith.  

  Your password is your student ID number that should begin with a 9… , if it begins with a 0, then replace the 0 with a 9.

You will then see the lost of courses.   Click on the course you have signed up for.   The screen below shows all of my courses that I teach, your list will only have the courses you have signed up for.

Click on the appropriate course. I have used 082 as an example.

The ICONS that you will be using are:

Test A-Diagnostic : This is the first test you take in the testing center to determine what objectives you need to study.

Tests B,C,D,& E : This contains the tests that you will take once you have taken Test A and have studied your topics.   Tests B-E will have the same number of questions as Test A, but you will only be answering the questions that relate to your objective sheet.

Calendar : This contains the start/stop dates for the course.

Email:   This is the email that we will use for the rest of the course.

When you go to take TEST A in the testing center, click on the Test A Icon, and it will then ask for a password.   The testing center proctors have that password.   Then you begin the test.   Please note that the WebCt calls the test a quiz.

When you get into the test as shown below, after you select each answer, you must hit save answer, if not then your selection will not be saved.   If you change your answer, you must click "save answer" again or it will save the first answer you selected. It also shows you that in the box on the right hand side of the screen that keeps track of the questions and how you have answered.

At the end of the test, you will need to click on “Finish” the test.   If not, then it will be lost.

You will then have the option to review the test.   This will be the only time to do so.

Then log out of webCt and you are finished.

The WebCt system then emails me your test.   I correct it and then send you your objectives that you missed on the test using the email through WebCT.   You next test will be Test B and will have those topics for you to do again.
