What is Dagorhir?

The short answer is it's a place that I go once a month to dress funny and beat the crap out of people.

I've decided to feature some of my favorite pics taken at recent events here.

Saturnalia 2005

Once a year, each unit follows the Roman tradition of Saturnalia and the ranks flip flop. The mighty become the peons and the noobs become commanders. We had fun this year in spite of the snow.

If you're a really good fighter and take all of your hits, Santa Claws might just leave you a present underneath the Dagorhir "Axe"-mas tree.

Thanksgiving Battle 2005

Every year Dagorhir's Aratari chapter (Baltimore - DC corridor) celebrates Thanksgiving in our own inimitable fashion... Beating the tar out of each other.

This was espeically fun for me this year as I got to bring my girlfriend Liz to the battle and she took pictures.

It was even cooler because we didn't have to go to Lake Frank and trudge up and down that absurd hill.
