Snorkeling is a favorite past time of many tourists that travel to Punta Cana. Many of the all-inclusive resorts include snorkeling in their hotel activities. The Punta Cana reef is where many travelers go for their snorkeling experiences. The reef is 24 miles long and provides a safeguard for most of Punta Canas beaches. Besides the reef a variety of tropical fish can be seen in the Punta Cana waters. The snorkeling excursions are always guided and can last approximately an hour.
