Determination of Final Grade
Print a copy of this file to keep track of your grade.
This sheet is to enable you to determine your current average at any point during the course. Each time you receive a grade for a lab quiz, a unit-5 quiz, or a unit lecture exam, record the numerical grade below. Lecture is worth 70% of your final grade; lab is worth 30%. To determine your current average in the course:
1. Divide the total points you have earned to date (top numbers) in lab by the total possible points you have taken thus far (bottom numbers) in lab and multiply by 30.
2. Now divide the total points you have earned to date (top numbers) in lecture by the total possible points you have taken thus far (bottom numbers) in lecture and multiply by 70.
3. Finally, add the results of steps 1-2 above and this is your current average in the course.
