Jack McLaughlin - Professor Computer Science

My personal background:

I am married with three children (all boys).  Although I've lived in Catonsville since 1980, I am originally from a small town in western Pennsylvania (California, PA).  I enjoy spending time with my family, playing and watching  sports (running, golf, racquetball, soccer, football & bowling), and camping. In April and May of 2012, I ran in two half marathons.

My professional background:

I started at CCBC (Catonsville Community College) as an adjunct faculty member in the spring of 1984. During the fall of that same year I was hired as a full-time Computer Science/Information Systems faculty member. I have enjoyed teaching a variety of CSIT courses. I have a BS degree in Math/Computer Science from California State College and a MS degree from The Johns Hopkins University.  I've also worked for the federal government as a programmer analyst and as a private contractor.
