CHART WIZARD GRAPH

1. STARTING POINT IS HISTORICAL PRICES DATA DOWNLOADED TO SPREADSHEET.
2. Highlight Column A data (Date)
3. In toolbar, click on Data, Sort, Ascending order
4. Highlight Column E data (Close)
5. In toolbar, Click Edit, Cut
6. Paste into Column B

DATE AND CLOSE COLUMNS MUST BE NEXT TO EACH OTHER FOR THE GRAPH TO COME OUT RIGHT

7. Highlight data in Columns A and B
8. In toolbar, click on the tools icon. This opens another toolbar.
9. In new toolbar, click on the bookends icon. This opens Chart Wizard.
10. Choose a Chart type (Line or Column)
11. Click Next. Chart Wizard automatically generates a graph.
12. Click Next. This takes you to the Chart Options page: Titles.
13. Enter “stock name” and/or “symbol” in Chart title
14. Enter Closing Date for X axis
15. Enter Closing Price for Y axis
16. Click Next
17. Click Finish
18. The completed graph should be visible and outlined with little black boxes.
19. Choose File, Print to generate a full-size graph
