| Allison Goldman is a sophomore at Goucher College. She won the second prize in the Eleventh Annual Catonsville Mathematics Competition last year. She excelled in competitions and written examinations in mathematics in high school. She was co-captain of Abington High School's math team in Abington, Massachusetts for two years, and was high scorer for the team three out of her four years on the team. On the mathematics portions of major written examinations she received perfect scores. These included the SAT I, Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS), and the AP Calculus AB exam. She graduated within the top five percent of her high school class, which helped to earn her the Dean's Scholarship at Goucher. When she isn't manipulating anything resembling a mathematical equation, she enjoys reading, music, poetry, and rallying support for Israel. |
