Andrew Drechsler

Andrew Drechsler is a senior at Hereford High School and has taken Calculus, Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Computer Science through Hereford Middle and High Schools. He placed first in the Catonsville Mathematics Competition in 2004 and second in 2005. Andrew has participated in several other competitions, including the American Mathematics Competition, Maryland Math League, Mathcounts, and American Regions Mathematics League. Andrew is the president of Hereford High's chapter of the Science National Honor Society and the secretary of the Gay-Straight Alliance. He is also a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Amnesty International, the It's Academic Team, the badminton team, the Robotics Club, and the 180 Club. (May 2006)
