Shakeeta's Autobiography

Shakeeta Smith is currently a student at CCBC Catonsville Campus. My major is Computer Graphics and Visual Communications (Interactive Design). I began my field of study in Fall 2006. I plan to graduate with my A.A. Degree in Interactive Design in Spring 2009. God has blessed me with the gift of creativity in Graphic Design. This is a gift that I never knew i had. I began noticing my creativity after doing church flyers and church programs for several occasions. After getting so much POSITIVE feedback from people, I decided that I wanted to go to school and learn more about Graphic Design. Throughout each semester I learned so many new and exciting things. It was sometimes complicated and challenging but in the end it was all worth it. I'm very proud to have made it this far and I pray that when I graduate I know everything I need to know to begin a new and exciting career.

I am a single mother of two handsome young men. They are ages 3 and 5. They are the loves of my life. I attend Antioch Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Wendell Speaks Sr. Not only do have the gift of creativity in Graphic Art but I also have the gift of singing and dance. I serve as the Choir Director of the adult choir, president of the Junior Ushers, Kindergarten Sunday School Teacher and one of the Dance Ministry leaders. So as you can see, outside of school I am a busy young lady who manages her time well. It gets rough at times but GOD makes a way for me to fit all that I need to fit into my schedule.
