Responsibilities: Chair and administer the Recreation, Parks,

Instruct courses which include introductory, leadership, and program planning courses, and many varied activity  courses in crafts, dance, music, sports, drama, camping, and special events planning. Advise the CCBC Recreation and Parks Society, an active professional society for students. Direct College-wide Intramurals Program.

Responsibilites: Develop the first free summer playground program in twenty years in Baltimore City. Select and evaluate playground sites.  Recruit staff. Order supplies and equipment. Develop training materials. Plan and present a two-week training for all staff.  Supervise the day-to-day operation of the playgrounds. Evaluate program and staff at conclusion of the program.

 

1996-1999            TRAINING AND PROGRAM DIRECTOR, Baltimore City Police Athletic League, Baltimore Police Department, 601 E. Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD  21202.

                         

Responsibilities: Develop program mission, goals, policies, and procedures related to recreational, cultural, and academic activities in      Police Athletic League (PAL) Centers in Baltimore City.  Train PAL 

staff in recreation leadership and program planning and implementation. Serve as resource to the PAL headquarters staff in regard to matters  related to recreational programming design, content, and evaluation. Assist with the development of inventory and facilities for PAL Centers.
